As a Senior Lighting Visualizer within the Lighting Team at Foster + Partners, my role has been to bring the creative vision of our lighting designers to life in a 3D environment. Using physically based rendering, I translate our lighting concepts into visually compelling, high-quality visualizations. These representations help showcase the team’s designs, allowing clients and stakeholders to fully experience our concepts. In addition to visualization work, I support the team’s creative process by producing design reports and detailed visual analysis.
A significant aspect of my role has been mentoring colleagues and delivering specialized training on 3D visualization software and our light representation workflow. Over my five years at Foster + Partners, I have been involved in over 40 global projects, although confidentiality limits specific details. However, I’m confident that many of our designs are recognizable around the world.
